Daicel Group’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Targets Validated by the Science Based Targets initiative

Daicel Corporation announced that the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets set by the Daicel Group have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) on April 2, 2026. These targets are aligned with the initiative’s goal of limiting the global average temperature increase to 1.5℃ above pre-industrial levels.

The Daicel Group will continue to promote initiatives to reduce GHG emissions with a value-chain-wide perspective, while striving to balance responses to climate change with sustainable business growth. Through these efforts, we aim to enhance corporate trust and contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.
